A binder raw material, not a finished road surface

Colorless Asphalt Binder is a binder raw material used in the production of colored asphalt. FUXIN manufactures this material in Henan, China. An asphalt producer combines the selected binder with suitable aggregates and, where required, pigments to make the final mixture. The mixture is then installed using a project-specific paving and compaction process.

This distinction matters when preparing a purchase enquiry. A shipment of binder does not replace the aggregates, pigments, mix design or installation work required by the project. Buyers should establish whether they need binder supply, a complete asphalt mixture or a pavement treatment before comparing quotations.

What does “clear” mean?

In this product context, “clear” describes the binder’s role in producing colored mixtures; it should not be read as a guarantee that every grade is water-white or visually identical. Ask for a sample and the specification of the actual product offered. Appearance should be assessed with the aggregates and pigment intended for use.

Public examples of pigmentable binders show that binder selection and aggregate color are both part of a colored-asphalt design. Those examples explain the material category; they do not establish the performance or suitability of a particular FUXIN grade.

How the material fits into production

Start with the intended application and required appearance. Next, identify the local aggregates, proposed pigment and available production equipment. Request the binder information needed by the mix designer, and agree how a trial mixture and physical sample will be evaluated before a larger order.

A binder name alone is not a complete production specification. Mixing conditions, proportions and installation requirements should come from the confirmed formulation and the guidance for the selected grade. Avoid transferring a temperature or dosage from another supplier’s product without checking its applicability.

What to request from FUXIN

A useful first enquiry includes the destination country, intended application, expected quantity, preferred packaging and any specification already issued by the project. Ask which product data, handling information and other documents are available for the proposed binder.

FUXIN can then discuss the selected product and supply requirements. The objective is to align the binder order with the customer’s production plan, rather than selecting a material from a photograph alone.
