Separate supply from production responsibilities

A successful supply discussion starts by identifying who will provide each part of the colored asphalt system. FUXIN supplies Colorless Asphalt Binder. The customer’s production team is responsible for combining the selected materials and carrying out the agreed production process.

Name the people responsible for the mix design, trial review, production operation and installation. This makes it easier to resolve questions before the materials arrive, especially when the binder supplier and asphalt plant are in different countries.

Build a production information pack

Collect the proposed binder specification, aggregate details, pigment reference and equipment information in one place. Add the project requirements and any available supplier guidance. If a document has been revised, mark which version applies to the planned trial.

Use this pack to identify missing information. For example, the production team may need clarification on the selected grade’s handling guidance or on the conditions used in the proposed formulation. These questions should be answered specifically; generic web instructions are not a substitute.

Agree on a trial before a large run

The trial plan should state which materials will be used, what will be recorded and how the result will be reviewed. Agree who can approve the appearance and who is responsible for any required technical evaluation. Keep the trial sample linked to the formulation record.

If the result needs adjustment, change the agreed variables in a documented way and review the revised sample. An approved color reference and a production record serve different purposes, so retain both.

Confirm the operating instructions

Ask the responsible technical team to confirm the product-specific conditions for handling, mixing and subsequent installation. Do not infer a universal temperature, binder percentage or pigment dosage from the name “Colorless Asphalt Binder.” These details depend on the selected product and the confirmed formulation.

Before scheduling production, ensure the plant team has the relevant information and a contact for unresolved questions. Where the project requires tests or independent review, agree when that work must be completed.

Keep the handover traceable

Record the binder delivery reference, relevant material batches, trial approval and production date. If the project is supplied in more than one batch, establish how the team will review consistency and manage material changes.

When enquiring with FUXIN, describe the available mixing equipment, proposed production schedule and intended application. This helps focus the conversation on the information needed for your actual production plan.
